Movie Legal Action Filmed

Environmental toxins in the Massachusetts town of Woburn contaminate the region`s water supply and have been linked to a number of child deaths. Woburn`s Anne Anderson (Kathleen Quinlan) asks Boston attorney Jan Schlichtmann (John Travolta) and his small assault law firm to take legal action against those responsible. Having initially dismissed a seemingly unprofitable case, Jan finds a major environmental problem related to groundwater contamination that has great legal potential, realizing that local tanneries could be responsible for several fatal cases of leukemia. Jan decides to take action against two giant companies that own the tanneries – Beatrice Foods and W. R. Grace and Company – and believes the deal could potentially make him millions and boost his company`s reputation. This movie is a nice escape into the world of good guys vs. bad guy entertainment. He enlists the help of the owner of the local hotel “Ex” Nick Searcyâ named Ex, because he is an ex-boxer, ex-husband, etc.

It stars Jeremy Sumpter (Peter Pan, Soul Surfer), Jill Wagner (Braven, Christmas Cookies), Adam Baldwin (The Last Ship, Full Metal Jacket, The Patriot) and Jet Jurgensmeyer (Last Man Standing, American Sniper).
